Tickets for badminton World Championships

 Aug 2, 2009 - Tickets are in high demand for the World Championships, set to get under way in just mere days.  There will only be 1,500-2,000  in the 3500-odd capacity stadium.  There will also be 180 seats set aside for VP's.  There will be free entry for schoolchildren on day one, August 10th and then Rs. 250 and Rs. 500 denominations for the following days with Rs. 750-Rs 1,000 per ticket for the final.
 
On another note, most of the special equipment needed, like the nets, poles and 5,000 shuttles will all be arriving from Japan.
