Sung Hwan Park won the Asian Badminton Championships in 2008, and the Korea International Challenge.He was the Asian Junior Champion in 2002. He holds one national title and his world ranking of eight was the highest in his professional career. In 2009 he was the runner-up at the Malaysia Super Series and a quarter-finalist at the Korea Super Series. China Masters Super Series quarter-finalist. 2009 Japan Open quarter-finalist.
