Rashid Sidek and Rexy Mainaky told to improve
May 21, 2009 - National chief coaches Rashid Sidek and Rexy Mainaky of Malaysia have been told to improve the play of their back-up players, after only achieving success this year with a small number of their elite players. They have said they have identified the problems. but have yet to come up with a plan to combat them. The coaching coordinator Kenny Goth said, “He (Rexy) has been talking about these weaknesses of the players quite often. What is he doing to improve the situation? Hopefully, this will be the focus in the next six months.” The players need to improve in the next six months or they run the risk of being dropped from the team.
