Malaysian Open badminton tournament: fifth day

 June 27, 2009  - It took Lee Chong Wei only 20 minutes to secure his rightful spot in the men's final, set for tomorrow.  He handily won 21-9, 21-8 against Hong Kong's Yun Hu.  In the other men's semi-final Long Chen beat Malaysian Choong Han Wong 21-10, 21-16. In women's play Pi Hongyan was unable to advance, losing her semi-final match  21-14, 21-15 against China's Shixian Wang.  Wang will play fellow Chinese player Xin Wang on Sunday.  Facing off in men's doubles it will be an all Malaysia final as Koo Kien Keat and Tan Boon Heong meet Teik Gan Chai and Bin Tan Shen.  Women's doubles is  Chin Eei Hu and Wong Pei Tty against Ma Jin and Wang Xiaoli.  Mixed doubles will be Chen Zu and Yunlei Zhao and on the opposite side of the net they will see Zheng Bo and Ma Jin.  China has 6 players/teams represented in the finals, with a chance at taking 4 of the 5 titles.
