Malaysan Open badminton tournament: second day

 June 24, 2009 - Early action today saw a lot of players in women's singles, men's singles and mixed doubles starting out their quest for hardware and a nice payout.  Men's singles players advancing are: Arvind Bhat, Long Chen (after he defeated Taufik Hidayat), Lee Chong Wei and Kenichi Tago.  Women's singles winners include: Pi Hongyan, Saina Nehwal and Mew Choo Wong.  Mixed doubles winners were: Bo Zheng and Jin Ma, Zu Chen and Zhao Yunlei and the Indian team of Gutta Jwala and Valiyaveetil Diju.
