Lee Chong Wei at Malaysian Open

June 26, 2009 - With not as big a talent pool as some of the previous tournaments this year, Lee Chong Wei is cruising his way towards the title after he won against Japan's Kenichi Tago 21-9, 21-15 in just over 30 minutes.  Women's player Pi Hongyan from France fought hard in her quarter-final match against Juliane Schenk 21-19, 26-24.  Hongyan was ranked as the number one female player coming in to this weeks tournament.  She will now face Chinese player Shixian Wang tomorrow.  Also getting ready for semi-final action are the top doubles pairs of:  Koo Kien Keat and Tan Boon Heong, and Chin Eei Hu and Wong Pei Tty.
