Kuan Beng Hong and Tan Chung Seang were dropped by Hendrawan

 Tuesday September 8, 2009 - Ahead of the Vietnam Open, Malaysian coach Hendrawan has dropped two of their leading shuttlers:  Kuan Beng Hong and Tan Chung Seang.  Both players were dropped after poor performances lately. "If one cannot handle the pressure in training, how are they to handle themselves during competition?" Hendrawan said. "Secondly, our players are only thinking of competing in tournaments without having to put much effort into the preparation.And if they lose, the defeat does not affect them greatly. This mindset has to change."  Both players have been replaced by lower ranking players.
