Badminton Service faults

The following pictures show common service faults:

* the birdie must be below the waist when is struck by the racket
* the racket head must be below the racket handle during serve

A service fault is considered if any of the following occurs:

* service in not correct
* if birdie hits the net and gets caught on the net
* if passing over the net the birdie gets caught at the top of the net
* the birdie is hit by the receivers partner
* birdie lands outside the service lines, (boundary lines are also included)
* the birdie passed through or under the net
* doesn't pass over the net
* comes in contact with ceiling, lighting, side walls or any foreign court object
* the birdie hits a player or any receivers clothing
* is hit twice by the serving player
